The government of Pakistan officially announced the purchase of J-35s and HQ-19s from China.
The government of Pakistan, via its official X account, posted that China has offered Pakistan the opportunity to purchase the J-35 and AD HQ-19 systems, which are advanced and high-tech. After India's failed Operation Sindoor, Pakistan emerged as a peer-to-peer against the Indian military or better than them. It has been reported by India Jourlinist many times that the Indian government, which is siding with and creating a BJP narrative, has created a parallel world that is against reality. It is a fact that now Indian journalists are also asking why the Indian government is shy about providing the facts about the Rafale jet that was shot down by the Pakistan Air Force. Now it has been rumored that the Pakistani government is going to purchase two J-35 jets, which are the most advanced jets at this time, and they are better than the peer-to-peer competitors of the F-35. Moreover, the F-35 is made by the USA; however, media and defense analyses suggest it is prone to crashes. Therefore, this is one of the major reasons why it could not secure major orders like the F-16, which is still one of the best fighter jets ever made by the US.
HQ 19 was not expected to purchase this early. However, due to India's hostile approach and not being a trustworthy cross-border country, the Pakistani government and its stakeholders have decided to buy the most advanced weapons and equipment from China to counter India's aggression against Pakistan. The Government of Pakistan's high-profile delegation is currently on a world tour to convince the world that Pakistan is a peaceful country and does not go to war with India. However, if India violates Pakistan's boundaries or attacks its citizens, including infrastructure or its army, then Pakistan's response will be more brutal than before. Therefore, this is the major reason Pakistan has increased its defense budget by around 20% for fiscal year 2026 to purchase the equipment to strengthen its army. It is expected that Pakistan will also purchase and produce more drones with Turkey and JF-17 Thunder Block 3 with China to counter any threat by India.
