It is reported that Field Marshal Asim Munir is going to visit the US today (12th June) and will attend US officials on the 14th of June, where the parade and US Army celebration of Army creation beyond 150 years will take place. It is reported by the Indian media as well as some international media that Field Marshal Asim Munir will be a guest of honor for the US, as the US army chief said yesterday in the US parliament that Pakistan is the most reliable and significant partner of the US in the war on terror. It did upset many Indians and their media, as Indian investment in isolating Pakistan on the global stage showed zero results. Many secular journalists in India are questioning the Modi government about who will be accountable for those claims made by government officials of the BJP that Pakistan is a sideshow and Pakistan is not a worry for India anymore. India also claimed that Pakistan has been isolated by the US government, and India's terms are better than ever with the US.
It is reported that the government of India wants Pakistan to be grey-listed in the FATF, as their meeting is going to be held in late June 2025 (this month). However, last time it was the US that lobbied Pakistan to be grey-listed in the FATF in February 2018; India, France, the UK, and Germany supported the US stance to grey-list Pakistan. At times, Pakistan did not have the full support of Turkey, China, and KSA. However, now it is impossible to graylist Pakistan via an Indian request. Moreover, it is reported Field Marshal Asim Munir will meet US diplomats, US officials, and US army officials, where discussions will take place on the regional issues as well as the India war issue. Even the Western media are reporting that Pakistan has shown maturity during the Pakistan and India skirmish, and India has indeed created its own fictional world where they captured every city in Pakistan. However, it was a fictional creation by their state media. It is expected that many other international officials will be attending the event as well.
